Nine Month Stats

I can not believe how fast time is passing! Junior is already nine months old! He is doing really well and learning so much every day!! He is a very strong, smart, and adorable little guy! He loves to play peek-a-boo, climb stairs, play in kitchen cabinets and drawers, walk around furniture, pull toilet paper off of the roll, cuddle, give kisses, wave hi and bye, and discover everything new around him! He has also recently discovered a love for his blankies and goes to bed (naps and night time) so much better when he has one over him. He also sleeps better/longer with them too! He says mama and dada and bye. We just love him to pieces! Here are his stats:

Weight: 20 pounds 2 ounces (50th percentile)
Height: 28 inches (45th percentile)
Head Circumference: 45 cm (50th percentile)

And a few pictures:

Father's Day

For Father's Day this year, Dave didn't have his usual meetings before church starting at 7:00 am, so I was able to get up and make him a nice breakfast before he had to head off to church. He also opened his presents before church. This year we went pretty inexpensive. He got a package of new socks from baby and the new Switchfoot CD (that he knew about) from me.

After church, we just relaxed. Then I let him open his real presents. (We really did give him the other things, but he needed/knew about them.) The little man gave his a puzzle that we had made from a picture of the two of them playing. This is the original picture:

I gave him a "Can of Dates" as well as a can of "Temple Treats". We haven't been the best at going on dates with one another, especially since the little man was born. So I decided to give him these cans so that he gets a date with me every week for the next year. There is a word strip for each date and there is a date for almost every week for a year. Eash Sunday he will draw his date out of the can and I will pick which day we do it based on schedules and time required. Some weeks are already planned out, like Holiday/Birthday/Anniversary weeks. Once a month he will draw a paper out of the "Temple Treats" can instead. It is a treat to eat after our temple trip for the month. Here is what they look like:

Six Month Stats

Baby's six month check-up went really well! He is growing up so fast! We can hardly believe it has been six months already! Here are his stats and a couple of cute pictures:

Weight: 18 pounds 5 ounces (75th percentile)
Height: 27 inches (75th percentile)
Head Circumference: 44 cm (50th percentile)

So once again he is growing like a weed, but has slowed down just a little bit too!

Painting the Office Red

Once upon a time I worked in a very boring office that had FOUR WHITE WALLS. I didn't take before pictures, but trust me, it was bad. When Jim retired and Dave took over, we decided to paint them tan, and I convinced them to paint one wall red. They were nervous, I was excited! It looks so good!!They even decided one wall in Dave's office needed to be red too!It is amazing what a little color can do!

More Cookies

We made more cookies for a family dinner. Dad and Mom had just returned from Hawaii, so we went with the tropical theme. And then made some spring flowers for the Pembertons. And the rest were stars to share with neighbors, as well as some for Dave to take to Bishopric meeting. And some for Kathy's Birthday at work!
