Valentines Day

A year ago, we found out that the Steedling would be joining our family!! How time has flown by! Dave brought me my second favorite roses (he wanted to do something a little different). This year with Valentine's Day being on Sunday, we had dinner at home. I set the table with white butcher paper and crayons so we could write on it like at Macaroni Grill. I also attempted making ganache covered cakes for Dave since "oh my ganache", Dave LOVES ganache! It went alright, but I made a sheet cake, then used cookie cutters to make little heart shaped cakes so there were a lot of crumbles and it was hard to cover. I would have liked to get it smoother, but it was my first try. I will get better!
